Admission Procedure, Rules & Regulation (LL.B. B.L.S 5 years/ LL.B 3 years):

The admission for first-year LL.B. B.L.S. (5 years)/LL.B. (3 years) will commence on the date notified by the DHE. Seats will be allotted to the institution by the competent authority conducting CET of Maharashtra State. Merit lists of admissions will be displayed on the college notice board as per the notification of DHE. Selected candidates will have to seek admission within the specified date notified by DHE. The admission must be taken by the student.

Documents required for Admission:

Following documents are required for admission (as applicable):

  • Statement of Marks (3 Photocopies Attested) of Std. X, XI & XII passed in a single sitting for LL.B./B.L.S. (5 years)
  • Statement of Marks (3 Photocopies Attested) of Std. X, XI, XII, and Degree mark sheets passed in a single sitting for LL.B. (3 years)
  • Leaving Certificate/Birth Certificate (2 Photocopies Attested) from school/college
  • Provisional Eligibility Certificate from Mumbai University if the student migrates from the Board other than Maharashtra Board
  • Passport and Visa, in case of overseas/foreign students. Tourist Visa/Entry Visa will not be considered
  • Four recent passport size photographs
  • CET Score Card
  • Allotment Letter
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Minority Certificate with O Proforma
  • Caste Validity Certificate
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate
  • Gujarati Linguistic Minority Certificate
  • Aadhaar Card

1.1 Educational qualification:

An Applicant/Candidate who has successfully completed Senior Secondary School Course (‘+2’) or equivalent, such as (11+1, ‘A’ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognized University of India or Outside or from Senior Secondary Board or Equivalent, Constituted or recognized by the Union or by a state Government or from any Equivalent Institution from a Foreign Country recognized by the Government of that Country for the purpose of issue of Qualifying Certificate on successful completion of the Course/Examination, with a minimum of 45% Marks in Aggregate* (no rounding allowed). (SC and ST Category candidates belonging to the State of Maharashtra with valid Caste Certificate and Caste Validity from the State of Maharashtra with a minimum of 40% Marks in Aggregate*)

Explanation:

An applicant who has successfully completed Senior Secondary School course ('+2') or equivalent such as (11+1, 'A' level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognized University of India or outside or from Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government of India or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the Government of that country for the purpose of issue of the qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course may apply for and be admitted to the Programmed of the Centres of Legal Education to obtain the integrated degree in Law with a degree in any other subject as the first degree from the University whose such a degree in law is recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrolment. Admission to LL.B. 3 Years Degree Course:

Educational Qualifications:

The candidate should be a Graduate and or Post Graduate in any Faculty/ Discipline of Knowledge of any University in Maharashtra established by an act of Parliament or by the State Legislature or an equivalent National Institution recognized as a Deemed to be University or Foreign University recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an Authority competent to declare equivalence, with a Minimum 45% Marks in Aggregate* for Open Category Candidates i.e. 45% Marks in Aggregate* (for all the parts of the Degree Examination taken together), and 40% Marks in Aggregate in degree examination in all parts of the Degree Examination for candidates belonging to SC and ST Category belonging to the State of Maharashtra only. Centralized Admission Process (CAP):

The Unaided Private Professional Educational Institution shall admit Candidates through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) as referred to in sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Act. The stages of Centralized Admission Process (CAP) shall be as stated below,- (a) Display or publishing of Information Brochure by the Competent Authority in consultation with the concerned Directorate; (b) Filling an online application form by Candidate for participation in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP); (c) Uploading scanned images of valid necessary original documents as per the requirement of the admissions while filling out the online application form; (d) Document Verification at Admission Reporting Centre by the Candidate. It is mandatory on the Candidate’s part to produce all original documents in support of the claim made in the application form; (e) Display or publishing of provisional merit lists, submission of grievances, if any, and display or publishing of final merit lists;
